An industry-leading aesthetic laser platform, the Cynosure® Icon™ system delivers exceptional results for a range of common skin conditions. The Palomar 1540 laser treatment is one of the treatments available on this platform, specifically designed for skin revitalization.

The Palomar Icon™ 1540 laser is a non-ablative fractional erbium laser, that can effectively treat the following skin conditions:

Fine lines and wrinkles

Wrinkles around the eyes
Smoker’s lines— fine lines around the mouth, necklace lines along neck
Acne scarring
Lax facial skin (mild)

The Palomar 1540 laser creates microbeams of energy to penetrate deep into the skin layers, while leaving healthy intact skin in between, allowing the body to use its natural wound healing process to increase collagen production and regenerate tissue, with minimal downtime. The laser creates microfine channels of injury, stimulating the body’s own wound healing response to create new collagen, as well contract and heal the tissue.

This tissue regeneration results in a smoother, tighter, more youthful-looking surface, lessening the appearance of discoloration, scarring, fine lines, and uneven skin texture. One Cynosure® Palomar Icon™ 1540 treatment can achieve visible results in CosmoWorld Laser and Cosmetic Clinic, while multiple, targeted treatments can drastically rejuvenate the appearance and feel of your skin. However, the treatment typically requires a series of treatments for optimal results, typically four to six treatments spaced one month apart. Treatment for acne scars, stretch marks, or surgical scars may take additional treatments.
